Look at any exotic of the era and you'll see the same massive wheel tuck. It was the fashion. Note the huge wheel gap of the factory Lambo Miura.

Probably just looks weird because the wheels are turned to the right.
But the tires aren't stretched, and they clear the fenders, so this car is certainly ahead of the game compared to your typical stancebro.

I believe you're talking about the Pantera GTS. While this kit is close, it's not the same as the factory one.
